About Alex
Guided by her motto, “Horses first, always,” Alex designs an individualized training approach for each horse and rider to support a harmonious partnership. Her well-balanced philosophy empowers riders with classical knowledge and principles to take their goals to the next level without shortcuts or compromises. Alex’s dedication to correct training and putting horses first is evident at home and in the competition ring. She brings confidence, positivity, and patience to every training session and regularly incorporates cavaletti and hill work into her program for top performance and happy horses.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and rode for the dressage team. She then trained and competed in Wellington, Florida under the tutelage of international coach and FEI trainer, Raul Corchuelo.
Through her own brand, Alex enjoys sharing her day to day and providing guidance and inspiration to riders around the world via social media and as a sponsored rider for Devoucoux, Kastel Denmark, and Riding Warehouse. She has been featured in Dressage Today, USDF Connection, Stable Style, Eventing Nation, The Chronicle of the Horse Untacked, Heels Down Magazine, Equestrian Culture, Horse & Style Magazine, HIPPSON Sweden, and Horse Radio Network.
Currently, Alex is preparing First Wonder Ymas for the small tour in addition to supporting her clients’ and client horses’ betterment. Alex believes that every rider should strive for continual development and personal excellence, and as such, she continues to improve her own riding by regularly training with FEI Dressage World and European Championship medalist Christoph Koschel.
She has also ridden and participated in clinics with Pablo "Pau" Gómez Molina, Raul Corchuelo, Katlyn Flett, Henk Glijn, Johann Hinnemann, Lauren Knopp, and Claudio Oliviera.
Alex welcomes riders of all experience levels and is available for clinics.
